Went over my goal calories today (well, by 65 calories BUT STILL) :( Booo, who knew risotto was so high in calories? I certainly didn’t!! Oh well, now I know, right? I’m starting to get over my cold, though, so hopefully I’ll be back at the gym in no time :)

Sunday Brunch
My cafeteria has recently started doing Sunday brunch, and it’s AMAZING. The one meal that my caff can never screw up is breakfast; there’s all sorts of cereal, eggs, toast, yoghurt, fruits, croissants…Mmmm. The only problem is that you have to wake up between 8 am and 10 am to get it, and on the weekends, that rarely happens. So usually on Sundays, you roll out of bed in time...
My birthday
is in roughly 4 months and a week. My goal was to be 140lbs by then, which would be 20 pounds lost. That seems possible, no? I can and will do it :) Hell, I`ll try to get to 135 lbs, even!

I feel truly terrible
…and I just caved and ate a Kit-Kat bar. Scratch today as well, then… I promise I’ll get back on track when I don’t feel like death personified.
Goals for this week:
- Get better from this awful cold!
- Eat lots of fruits! Oranges will hopefully heal me.
- Start going to the gym again, once I don’t feel like death.
- Start to keep track of my calories again.
- Work on my evil, evil history essay!!!
AKA shake off this horrid cold and get back on track. I can do it! :)

Ughhh
Today was terrible. I’m sick and I was weirdly sad and pissed off the whole day. I also ate sooo terribly!! And then I came home from a field trip for school, log on to facebook and the first thing on my newsfeed is a status from my ex-boyfriend talking about how much he loves life and how happy he is. Cherry on top of the cake, thanksss.

Carb Night
Wednesday nights are carb night at my cafeteria — mac & cheese, pizza, fries, chicken burgers with white hamburger buns … you name, they serve it.
Put simply, my caff sucks at food. They can screw up even the easiest of pasta dishes and can seriously defile some classics (our “lasagna” is basically whatever we had the night before with cheese on top…)...
I should REALLY
go to the gym today…but it’s so busy :( We’ve only got a very small number of machines in our gym. Grrr.
Is it weird that I haven’t been since Sunday and I actually…miss it? I never thought I’d say that… :)

was a bit of a fail on the whole “being healthy” front…
I ate some birthday cake (only one slice — yay me!) but then I went out for my friend’s birthday, and ended up buying some french fries as drunk-food. And I didn’t exercise yesterday!! Eek.

I discovered MFP yesterday, I think it’s amazing! I signed up and filled in all my food and exercise info and was under my calorie goal! If I keep up the exercise and healthy diet it says I can reach 152.4 lbs in 5 weeks (around the end of February)!! I’m not sure that’s possible but it’s definitely motivating :)

I’ve only started truly dieting and exercising regularly two weeks ago. I have to say, it’s pretty hard watching what you eat when you have a meal plan at a very carb/grease-filled cafeteria. Last semester, I started off hardly eating (the food’s quite gross) and losing weight…until I couldn’t take the gross food anymore and started eating loads of dessert instead....
